PRAHA – Žebříčku bankovních institucí sestavenému na základě ziskovosti v letošním prvním pololetí vévodí největší banky. Ne že by představovaly vrchol efektivnosti, ale na jejich hospodářském výsledku se zřetelně projevila státní pomoc. Největší zisk vykázala Komerční banka, která byla ještě loni v hluboké ztrátě. Její zisk podle mezinárodních účetních standardů činil zhruba 2,7 miliardy korun při nezměněné bilanční sumě ve výši zhruba 400 miliard korun. Loni se její zisk propadl o více než miliardu korun. Konsolidační banka převzala garanci za
63 procent špatných pohledávek ústavu, takže Komerční banka mohla vytvářet nižší rezervy na ztráty z úvěrů a dostat se do zisku.
Stříbrnou příčku získala Československá obchodní banka, která má díky pohlcení IPB vůbec největší bilanční sumu ze všech – bezmála 566 miliard korun. Její zisk se vyhoupl z loňské miliardy na více než dvě miliardy korun. I s převzetím IPB však vydatně pomáhali daňoví poplatníci. Třetí místo patří České spořitelně se ziskem 1,8 miliardy korun. Ten oproti loňsku vzrostl desetinásobně.
