Pražský tvůrce aplikací STRV loni utržil 360 milionů, za rok vyrostl o třetinu

Pražská technologická společnost STRV, která se zaměřuje na design a vývoj softwarových produktů, poprvé ve své patnáctileté historii zveřejnila kompletní čísla o svém ekonomickém výkonu. Loni zvýšila obrat o 35 procent 360 milionů a vydělala zhruba 60 milionů.

Stěžejní součástí byznysu STRV je i nadále tvorba aplikací a dalšího softwaru pro americké klienty. STRV na těchto projektech loni utržila více než 300 milionů korun. Vlastní projekty firmy spadající pod odnož STRV Labs přinesly dalších téměř 60 milionů korun. Zisk (EBITDA) se přiblížil taktéž 60 milionům korun.

„Nadále se zaměřujeme hlavně na americký trh a také na Londýn, kam jsme expandovali koncem roku 2018. Již nyní vidíme výsledky, které přineslo naše posílené vedení, a to v podobě nových klientů,” okomentoval hospodářské výsledky společnosti její spoluzakladatel a CEO Lubo Smid.

Mezi nové klienty STRV patří například poskytovatel cloudového úložiště Box. Dalšími přírůstky jsou dva americké fintech startupy. Meed je první světovou službou na pomezí banky a sociální sítě, Joust poskytuje inteligentní bankovnictví pro freelancery a drobné podnikatele. Posledním přírůstkem je pak americká pobočka japonského obchodního gigantu Itochu.

Doménou společnosti dosud byla rychlost tvorby digitálních produktů, nyní se chce zaměřit na vyšší kvalitu. „I když na rychlosti stále záleží, jdeme primárně po poctivém strategickém přístupu a kvalitním designu. Díky tomu přinášíme na trh správný produkt ve správnou chvíli a za správné peníze. Přirozeně se pak dostáváme ke klientům a zakázkám s vyšší přidanou hodnotou i rozpočtem a místo snadno nahraditelného dodavatele se stáváme strategickým partnerem,“ říká Milan Šemelák, šéf strategie STRV.

STRV musí kvůli růstu rozšířit své kanceláře v pražském Karlíně a nabrat další zaměstnance, kterých je už nyní zhruba 180. Ve firmě pracují lidé zhruba 20 národností a více než polovinu zaměstnanců tvoří cizinci. Od založení v roce 2004 uvedla STRV na trh stovky aplikací a digitálních řešení pro klienty, jako jsou Microsoft, Tinder nebo Hallmark. V roce 2017 zařadila poradenská společnost Deloitte a list Financial Times společnost mezi nejrychleji rostoucí evropské firmy.
