Šéf Siemensu Kaeser: Xenofobie v Chemnitzu může poškodit celou ekonomiku

Generální ředitel firmy Siemens Joe Kaeser se obává negativních dopadů na německou ekonomiku po protestech proti cizincům v německém městě Chemnitz. Zdůraznil, že německé firmy nevyváží jenom zboží, ale také hodnoty. Jednou z nich by měla být i tolerance, mimo jiné z historických důvodů. Protiimigrační pochody poškozují pověst Německa po celém světě, míní Kaeser.

Protesty v německém městě Chemnitz (Saská Kamenice) nedaleko českých hranic negativně ovlivňují pohled na Německo a mohou mít ve světě dopad na celou německou ekonomiku. Tvrdí to generální ředitel firmy Siemens Joe Kaeser. „Z Německa vyvážíme nejen výrobky, ale také hodnoty. Máme zvláštní odpovědnost kvůli naší historii, na kterou nesmíme zapomenout,“ tvrdí manažer strojírenského konglomerátu.

Incidenty namířené proti migrantům podle něj poškozují celosvětovou pověst Německa jako kosmopolitní a přátelské země. Může to ohrozit i získávání odborníků z celého světa, kterých je v německé ekonomice nedostatek. „Máme na celém světě 378 tisíc zaměstnanců, v Německu to je 130 tisíc. Všichni naši zaměstnanci se musí cítit spokojeně bez ohledu na to, jakého jsou původu,“ zdůraznil Kaeser. Firma proto musí prosazovat hodnoty, jako je otevřenost a tolerance.

Server Quartz připomněl, že prvního září v roce 1939 vyprovokovalo nacistické Německo druhou světovou válku napadením Polska. Po 79 letech v ulicích Chemnitzu pochodují tisíce pravicových extremistů, kteří žádají „Německo pro Němce“.

V saském městě Chemnitz o víkendu proběhly další protesty, které vyvolala o týden dříve vražda pětatřicetiletého Němce. Podezřelí z činu jsou jeden Syřan a jeden Iráčan, kteří jsou ve vazbě. Mezi odpůrci přistěhovalců někteří lidé hajlovali. Byl také napaden jeden Afgánec čtyřmi maskovanými lidmi.

Německý ministr zahraničí Heiko Maas vyzval společnost, aby se více angažovala proti rasismu. Dvě třetiny Němců se domnívají, že se problém pravicového extremismu týká hlavně východní části země.

Německý deník Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung si všiml výroku českého prezidenta Miloše Zemana pro televizi Barrandov, jenž vyslovil sympatie s protestujícími. Podle Zemana se jedná o důsledek pozvání uprchlíků kancléřky Angely Merkelové.
